The WRTR-505N is a Dual Band wireless router with one 10/100Base-T WAN port and four 10/100Base-T LAN ports. It supports 2.4GHz or 5GHz radio bands and works with dual-band (2.4GHz or 5GHz) 802.11n wireless devices as well as 802.11a/b/g products, providing you the flexibility to choose 2.4GHz band for checking e-mails and browsing the Internet or 5GHz, the clean wireless network, for streaming multimedia data or transmitting a large number of data.
This router integrates MIMO (Multiple In, Multiple Output) technology that can use signal reflections to increase the range and reduce "dead spots" of wireless coverage area. It supports multi-operation modes: AP, AP Client (Station Infrastructure), Bridge, WDS, and WISP.
The integrated AP supports WEP and WPA/WPA2 wireless encryption. It uses WMM (QoS) to prioritize the traffic over the network. A WPS button allows for worry-free wireless security configuration.
The WRTR-505N provides VPN pass-through for IPSec and PPTP. It features a built-in firewall to protect the network against Denial of Service (DoS) attacks. It can be easily configured via Web-based configuration utility, including a Quick Setup Wizard.
