FASTLANES is Portal's radio scanner technology that provides up to 3X more capacity. WiFi networks using Portal expand their usage of the 5GHz frequency from the standard two bands to six bands on most existing WiFi devices.

The SMARTLANES network traffic analyzer reports congestion and data flow to a Cloud-based traffic controller. The controller performs sophisticated demand and shaping analysis that determines the best frequency allocations and radio settings to reduce the effects of congestion on you by as much as 300X.

Portal gives you easy "one-touch" setup on iOS or Android. Bluetooth technology is used to automatically locate the Portal and provide all of the initial configuration information. Once Portal knows your smartphone information, it uses this for added security, reporting alerts, remote network monitoring, parental control, and location-based guest access. Or, use the browser interface if you want to manually configure your Portal.

Cloud-based authentication provides Portal users with improved security, including dynamic, adaptive guest virtual access. Set the duration and depth of network access for a specific guest and Portal's authentication protocols automatically verify and authorize them to join a virtual network every time they're within range of your network. When they leave, portal shuts down their virtual network and re-establishes their virtual network when they return.

Portal has a total of 7 bands of available Wi-Fi. It utilizes MU-MIMO technology for simultaneous streaming and gaming on multiple devices. Support for Internet of Things Devices is also provided.
