Netgear VVG2000

details: VDSL2 Voice Gateway With 802.11n Wireless AP
hardware type: VoIP Gateway
date added: 2010-01-17
updated: 2015-09-17
The VVG2000 integrates a VDSL2 modem, 802.11b/g/n wireless access point, four-port 10/100 Ethernet switch, one FXS port for VoIP, one FXO port and two USB 2.0 ports.

The integrated wireless access point complies with the IEEE 802.11n (draft 2.0) standard, providing wireless transmission rates of up to 300Mbps. This AP supports Multiple SSIDs and WEP and WPA/WPA2 wireless encryption. It uses WMM (QoS) to prioritize the traffic over the network. A WPS button allows for worry-free wireless security configuration.

This router supports a variety of VoIP features, such as Caller ID, Echo Cancellation and three- way conferencing. The integrated voice features support existing DECT and new CAT-IQ compliant handsets for feature rich telephony.

The router provides VPN pass-through for IPSec and PPTP. A built-in SPI firewall protects the network against Denial of Service (DoS) attacks. It can be configured via Web-based configuration utility or via Telnet/CLI.
