ive tried that dude several times. Itll load into windows at 600 mhz. As soon as i go into the bios to change anything itll shut off and i have to clear them again before i can get into windows again.

i always take the right precautions when installing any hardware. I can now get it to load to windows but it will still shutdown once in a while. IF i try to change anything in the bios it shuts off.

I havent messed with the 48x.....but no complaints at all with the premium. Its quiet..fast....and has burned everything ive thrown at it so far with no problems at all.

I have a 512 mb stick of 3200pro with the led's. It performs good...i havent had a chance to really push it yet. Im working on a new case and i thought the led's would look cool. No complaints from me.

I tried clearing the cmos a few times...moving the jumper...removing the battery...both. Still the same thing? Anything else i can try?

I recently picked up 2 9600's and they are stamped differently. On is V38 the other is V52. Is there a difference between the 2? I have some pics but no way to post them.

I have a 440 chipset and a WD 200 gig right now and it doesnt give me all 200 gigs. I have The promise card but it doesnt want to work. Thats one of the reasons why im building a whole new machine.

What is the best defragger to use with XP. I have speed disk...but its not so speedy. What about diskeeper? Also when i run musicmatch it takes forever to load up and uses all my processor power.
