or

PLEXTOR PLEXWRITER PREMIUM 52X32X52 ATAPI CD-RW INT IDE BEIGE RETAIL BOX

the first one is more expansive and i dont know why ..maybe cuz its black ?
thinking about buying new plextor burner but dont know which one would be better.

Are both prices from the same site/store? I'd go for the faster one if color was not a big deal.

I havent messed with the 48x.....but no complaints at all with the premium. Its quiet..fast....and has burned everything ive thrown at it so far with no problems at all.

considered a dvdrw? Small amount more and they do a stellar job on cdr's.

my liteon dvdrw is vastly superior to my liteon cdrw, such that i've removed my liteon cdrw from my system. The dvdrw 40x burned cdr's faster then the 52x cdrw, crazy!
