SG member sad news

Hello all,
Sad to break the news but MissTynker2 passed away last month. I resisted posting
in case a member of her family was asked to do it but as nothing has appeared I
feel she would have wanted people on here to know.

She had been seriously ill since March this year and i've little contact ...

As to be expected with such serious surgery it's a long hard road to recovery for Tink. Fluid retention and it's inherent problems are the focus now and this wasn't helped by a mistake with her prescriptions. This has been resolved and she is resting now.
She sends her regards and is in fine spirits ...

Another final update

Tink disobeyed doctors orders, it was a knocking bet she would, and did far too much on her first day or two after release. She's now under doctors orders again to take it easy and this note is just to let you know she sends her thanks once again to her SG friends.

Yet more good news on the recovery front! Tink's strength continues to grow as does her independence. The eating is still good too and whilst no date has been given her family feel at least that day is now in sight. Still missing her SG buddies and maybe soon a mail or thread.

Hello again. The news is that she's definitely on the mend! Her family are much more confident now she'll make in through and be home soon. Once more best wishes to her SG friends and with a little luck it won't be too long before she posts in person.

Though she's caught a bug, staph, and is in isolation her spirits and eating are both good. Can't be fun spending this much time in hospital when the estimate was a lot less but i do feel those two thing are most important. Still no news on a release date but she misses all of you and sends her love.

Better news from Tink's daughter

Well things are looking better. They put Mom in a room two days ago. First day was hard on her as she was way to weak for all they we're trying to put her through. Yesterday she started getting a little better, the food they finally decided to give her helped so much (We were ready to sneak ...

I'm afraid this update isn't as positive as the last ones. Tink has trouble with her blood pressure, oxygen levels and fluid on the lungs and has been moved back to the icu.
The medical staff don't seem unduly worried but as you may imagine Tink's family are but she remains in good spirits.

More good news on the recovery front. As of Saturday she is up and walking though still in pain. She gets coffee today, Sunday, that will make her feel even better! No internet in the hospital and no firm date for release but Tink's family are very happy with both the treatment and the hospital.

Received further news that the improvements continue. Pretty bad time to be stuck in a hospital but i have an idea she won't mind as long as the improvements continue. I'll leave the medical details for Tink to explain when she gets back on here but her family are really encouraged by the progress.

An update

Heard from Tink's daughter that the surgery went well. The surgery took three and a half hours and she was out of it for six. Bypasses on both sides instead of scraping and she is now in recovery. They are trying to get a laptop to her in about four days time so she can post herself.

I'm not a tax guy in England. But I've had some conversations on this subject in several pubs in London and in the Norwich (might be spelled wrong) area. Not a large sampling but enough to know it's pretty bad. If i'm wrong, I'll addmit it. But these folks that I talked to said they are taxed on ...

I've been to England, and wow you don't even want to discuss taxes in a pub. Britts get taxed on everything they own. From the type of radio they own in their cars, number of speakers (size), to the number of TV sets in their homes, also the width of the screen matters. bigger screen's bigger taxes ...

Ebay rip off victim gets revenge

He bought a laptop which was faulty. No refund but when he pulled the hard drive from the laptop quite a bit of personal stuff hadn't been deleted, including porn and bank details. Some of these made into a site.

I'd check your consumer rights carefully re the packaging. Over here you buy the product and returning it doesn't depend on having the box it came in. The same might apply over there and they just trying to pull a flanker. Worth your while to check it.

She's home again. The lung needed to be drained of excess fluid but hadn't collapsed. She is resting and taking things easy before she tries to save half of America again. Hopefully this time a full recovery and fit to go fishing this weekend.
