Network Slow XP

When I startup my computer, its looking for something on the network, so it stalls the taskbar. I already made the IP on the LAN a static IP. Is there any other way to speed up this process so I can have a faster windows and taskbar startup?

Customizer XP 1.7.8 Key Code

I just got Customizer XP 1.7.8 in order to make my tweakin alot easier than going into the registry, which I have done for who knows how long. Anyway, it really sped up my computer and I would like to know if there is a code/key out there so I can activate it away from the 10 day Trial...

Yes I am. It doesn't seem to speed up anything. In fact I get 495 with the native XP PPPoE set at default settings, than with TCPOpt. in which I get 473. So right now I am using the defaults and an RWIN of 63360. ...???

Uncapping Verizon DSL???

Can I uncap my Verizon DSL that was advertised for 768kb/s? I am using a westell modem and its hooked up to a hub which is shared to other users. Its kinda wierd though because one user can get 640kb/s and I can only get 496kb/s. I have already done the tweaking.

Knowing this, with a router or hub or switch, each computer will be hooked up to the device. Therefore the computer, won't have to connect through a computer ...
