Can you tell me what you think of this?

Okay I have decided to upgrade from an old celey 500 to an AMD T-Bird 1 GHZ w/ 266 FSB. The motherboard I was thinking of using was the ASUS A7V133 AMD SOCKET A KT133A ATA 100 ATX MOTHERBOARD. This is the first AMD i have ever used. I know they have a heat problem so if you could, what kind of ...

I get that sometimes when like my Linky has a (whatever)fart. I just have to restart my computer. I cant see why you cant access it. It sounds to me that it would be more of a problem with IE then your Linky. Umm hmmm, well i am not a very big person on IE settings. Sorry.

Good luck,

YOu just want to unbind TCP/IP. Not NetBEUI. Keep it bound to the two, just unbind TCP/IP

Good job so far!!! Well lets see. I know this is kind of hard but if you have a lot of protocols in you network settings and things are running slow, well, i would probably delete all of them and then just install: Client for MS..., TCP/IP, and NetBEUI (File/Printer Sharing if you need it). That is ...

I am guessing that it is something that is more likely to do with the computer then the router if the two other computers work fine. I don't believe that Quake 3 uses IPX. What you should try is going into your Network Settings and installing NetBUEI. Then go into TCP/IP and unbind "Client for..." and "File and Printer Sharing". Then try it. That is my setup and it works fine.

Good luck,

The filters eliminate the static that DSL creates on the phone line. They aren't very hard to put in, just plug them into the wall outlet and then plug whatever you had pluged in the wall into the filter.

About the DSL and voice being on the same line. I have my DSL and voice on the same line and ...

CCNA Certification

I was just wondering if any of you out there could tell me how the CCNA Certification test is. I dont want answers, just tell me whether it is really hard or is like common sense. I heard that it is like 120 questions. I plan on taking it this summer or next year.

If you are using static routing, make sure that all the IP addresses are different. As previously stated, make sure that all the puters are on the same workgroup and that they have different names. if you are connected all the time to the internet and don't have to do anything to connect to the internet, then all you need is a switch and just plug the modem into the uplink port.
