What is the best setting...in the LAN SETTINGS With IE6

Autmatically detect settings/Use automatic configuration script, or none??

Forgot another thing...programs like MSN, ICQ, KAZAA.
Are working without problems

And when I play internet games, I have no problems with pings...I get pings around 40/50

But I think It's internet explorer...but I don't know what to do...

I put cdrom in myself, but I tried unplugging it, did not work
I cannot see it when I go to This computer!

Strange....

That's the problem, I did NOT do anything that might have caused this!

I was checking email,and I was chatting on MSN messenger!...After that I Shut down the comp. and the cd-rom was still there.....but when I booted it the next day....nothing......!

My Cd-rom Icon isn't there anymore,and If I put a cd in my cd-rom drive than it gives an error message!!!!!

It works great, I also noticed lower pings on gaming, and faster web page loadings!

Thnx for the replies guys, well If I only can overclock to a pentium 233 than it's no use, cause I get a new one soon !

And I play CS a lot!But I dont think that an OC from 200 to 233 will give me such an high speed boost!

But I disagree with you at this point!

This is what is does,you type an internet address,in the program,and it calulates the best MTU settings for your comp.,it's a shareware proggie called SySpeed with a trial of 7 days.

But when it has calculated your best settings,you can manually add that to your register,my MTU was set on 1500,and ...

I live in Holland,and suddenly I had a VERY slow @home cable connection, downloads dropped, and ping went from 80 to around 200 400.This stayed for months!

But than I became a member of a complaining club against @home,and know they seem to have solved the problem,I know have pings around 30 a 60 ...

it's pretty strange I admit,I live in Holland and have @home cable service,and I normaly get pings around 60 on game servers,Now I get pings around 400!!!!

not fast though....but not too slow!
Nobody with cable can download with constant speeds of 1mb/sec

If it's NOT the firewall than it is probably that your comp. is no fast enough to connect at once!
