Solution @home problem........

Post by Killing-Angel »

I live in Holland, and suddenly I had a VERY slow @home cable connection, downloads dropped, and ping went from 80 to around 200 400.This stayed for months!

But than I became a member of a complaining club against @home,and know they seem to have solved the problem,I know have pings around 30 a 60 (better than before) Ofcourse also because of the tweaks!

So solution, start a complainingclub for your town, and complain complain complain :)

I hope it will help!

Actually in the US and Canada there are government agencies that take these complaints such as the local public utilities commission. Actually one of my friends got sick of the phone company's internet service being down 99% of the time so he called the local PUC and called city hall and even though tbaytel still really sucks the downtime has been deratically decreased. How did we get them...because tbaytel bills the internet on the same bill as the phoneline so it falls under the conditions of a utility :D . If they had their ISP as a seperate service (with seperate bill) and not as an "add-on" to the phone service then we would have not been so lucky. So yes those on Verizon if you got the wits and they do bill the internet along with your phone line you might be able to do this. The Laws in the US are not always the same as Canada so you may not be so lucky.
