Guys Windows XP has Built in DNS caching,which some prefer to turn off.I to use many of Analog X's utilities,but this was written for pre-xp systems,Thanks

Your UPLOAD speed dictates how many people you can host on a server..If you are @128k than 3 maybe 4 at the most and that is pushing it.The TCP/IP tweaks should not be affecting your ping.RCV window and MTU are really the only 2 tweaks that i have tested that affects your download speeds.IMO the ...

Sorry..I am not that familiar with DSL.... But Go to http://www.dslreports.com and click on forums on the left hand side menu.Then show all forums,and try to find your ISP and make a post there.There forums are very ISP'/Connection type specific and i am sure you will get very many repsonses.

DAP doesnt cause web pages not to be displayed,it is for FTP.All DAP does is log onto the server 4 or more times and re-combines the file from pieces to one file again....Doesnt affect anything when going to http://www.cnn.com ,Unless you go to the download section

My ip is 206.107.127.**,the other guys is the same except for the last digits being 3 *** instead of 2.I am pretty sure i am on "node"7 and he is on node 2.Least thats what the cable installer told me a year and a half ago.Anyone else from outside using another ISP can connect up fine with us..just ...

Can anyone explain why 2 sb1200 one way cable modems on the same network,about 7 miles apart from one another -cannot- connect IP to IP.And also be unable to ping one another as if the connections dead.Also,if one user is on the cable modem and the other guy is across town on his backup dialup ...

Well..i to have charter in cleveland ,tn....when i first got it..it was great...nov. of 99...since then its gotten worse and worse.Packet loss is about 25% as i speak...d/l accelerator is the only way i can get to 50kilobyte a sec...a normal d/l is around 15 k/b.i have tried every tweak @speedguide ...

i have charter pipeline in Tennessee....Has anyone else been having huge packet loss when you hit the sprint routers?????????????
