ZyXEL P-662HW-D1

details: Wireless ADSL2+ 4 Port Router with Firewall
hardware type: DSL Wireless Router
date added: 2010-05-26
updated: 2013-05-08
The P-662HW-D1 is a wireless ADSL2+ router. It has four 10/100 Base-T Ethernet ports and provides WAN throughput of up to 24Mbps. The P-662HW-D1 features a Fail-over and Fall back WAN backup solution for complete reliability. When the DSL connection fails, traffic is forwarded to either a backup ISDN or analog modem to maintain data transfer. When the DSL connection is re-established, traffic is fully restored.

The integrated AP complies with IEEE 802.11b/g standards. Using "G+" technology, it provides wireless transmission speeds of up to 108Mbps. The router supports WEP and WPA/WPA2 wireless encryption and 802.1x authentication. It uses WMM (QoS) to prioritize the traffic over the network.

This router provides VPN pass-through for IPSec, allowing you to establish up to 20 simultaneous VPN tunnels. It features a built-in SPI firewall to protect the network from Denial of Service (DoS) attacks.
