The NBG318S v2 is a wireless router with one 10/100Base-T WAN port, three 10/100Base-T LAN ports and Powerline as WAN or LAN port. It features both wireless and HomePlug AV connectivity. Using the power lines, this router is capable of transmitting data at up to 200Mbps.

The integrated AP complies with IEEE 802.11b/g standards. Utilizing "G+" technology, it provides wireless transmission speeds of up to 108Mbps. It uses WMM (QoS) to prioritize the traffic over the network. A WPS button allows for easy wireless security configuration.

The NBG318S v2 has a built-in SPI firewall to protect the network against Denial of Service (DoS) attacks. It can be configured via Web-based configuration utility or via Telnet/CLI.
