With Wi-Fi Multimedia(WMM) technology, the NBG-418N enhances your audio, video and voice application experience over wireless networks through the capability to prioritize different network traffic types for optimized performance. With the Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS) push button, establishing a secure wireless network can't be easier. The WPS takes only a few seconds to set up a secure wireless network without any complicated procedure; and 64/128-bit WEP and WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK are also supported to provide stringent protection for wireless transmissions. Featuring a power-saving mode, the NBG-418N can automatically reduce wasted energy when there is no transmission traffic. In addition, the NBG-418N can also detect the length of connected Ethernet cables and then adjust power usage accordingly. The shorter the Ethernet cable length, the less power it consumes.
