W301A is a ceiling-mounted wireless Access Point based on the latest IEEE802.11n standard while at the same time being with 300Mbps wireless transmitting rate. Adopting the advanced "Multiple in and Multiple out" (MIMO) technology, it greatly increases wireless coverage area.
With appropriate Power over Ethernet (PoE) support, you only need to run one cable to the AP to deliver both data and power. Ceiling-mounted design makes it easy for you to fix the device on the roof for wireless signal coverage. 4 working modes are supported by the device. Firstly, the most commonly used mode is AP. The second mode is Bridge in which you can connect two LANs with two APs. The third mode is P2MP in which you can bridge multiple wired LANs by APs. The fourth mode is Repeating mode.
