HG0428un features a Gigabit Ethernet access interface and integrates residential gateway, WLAN and USB functions. HG0408UN provides a high bandwidth access and supports an array of functions for routing, voice, wireless, IPTV, and security solutions for residential, Small Office/Home Office (SOHO) users.
The integrated AP complies with the IEEE 802.11n standard, providing wireless transmission speeds of up to 300Mbps. It offers WEP and WPA/WPA2 encryption. A WPS button allows users to establish a secure connection with the push of a button.
The router supports the following VoIP codecs: G.711, G.726, G.729. It also supports T.38 FAX Relay.
The model HG0428un comes in two variants: with 2 FXS ports and without any FXS ports.
