The TC7010 wireless EMTA is based on EuroDOCSIS 2.0, works in dual mode DOCSIS / EuroDOCSIS.

It supports voice using the EuroPacketCable 1.5 standard and call control with the
EuroPacketCable standard NCS protocol or SIP protocol as an option. All standard codecs are supported, including the new iLBC and BV16.

The TC7010 has an IEEE 802.11n wireless interface, offering speeds of up to 120Mbps.

The integrated firewall provides Stateful Packet Inspection (SPI), and an integrated Intrusion Detection and Prevention System (IDS) engine monitors a wide range of attack patterns, and logs potential security breaches to a local cache or remote server.
