The SMCWBR14-G2 is a wireless router with a single 10/100Base-T WAN port and four 10/100Base-T LAN ports. It integrates the function of wireless access point, firewall, and a NAT router.
The integrated access point complies with the IEEE 802.11b/g standard with wireless transmission speeds of up to 54Mbps. It supports WEP and WPA/WPA2 wireless encryption.
The router supports VPN pass-through for IPSec, L2TP and PPTP. A built-in SPI firewall protects the network against hackers and Denial of Service (DoS).
