The SMC7901WBRA2 is a residential broadband access device combining the function of an ADSL2/2+ modem, with 1-port LAN (RJ-45) and a 54Mbps wireless G access point (IEEE 802.11b/g). It is fully compliant with the latest ADSL2/2+ and Ethernet standards.
Compliance with TR-067 ensures interoperability with your ISP's network infrastructure. The SMC7901WBRA2 provides high performance access to the Internet, with downstream up to 24Mbps and upstream up to 2Mbps, making it ideal for individual users, SOHOs, and small enterprises.
With the SMC7901WBRA2, computers on the LAN side can communicate and share the Internet access and files with each other wired or wirelessly. The NAT firewall with Stateful Packet Inspection (SPI), Intrusion Detection System (IDS) & Denial-of-Service (DoS) provides robust security from hackers. VPN pass-through is also provided for securely connecting to your office or corporate network.
