Planex CQW-MR500

details: Wireless Mobile Router
hardware type: Travel Router
date added: 2010-02-07
updated: 2020-03-28
The CQW-MR500 is a 3G wireless router with one 10/100Base-T WAN port, four 10/100Base-T Ethernet LAN ports and a single USB port, intended for a connection using a 3G USB modem. It supports IPv6 Bridge Function(IPv6 Pass through).

You can use the 3G connection as a failover for your landline connection and ensure that your Internet dependent activities are always online.

The integrated access point complies with the IEEE 802.11n (draft) standard, providing wireless transmission rates of up to 150Mbps. It can operate in AP and Wireless Bridge modes, and supports WEP and WPA/WPA2 wireless encryption. A WPS button allows for worry-free wireless security configuration.

The router features a built-in firewall to protect the network against hackers and Denial of Service (DoS) attacks.
