The FVX538 is a firewall with two 10/100Mbps WAN ports, eight 10/100Mbps and a single 10/100/1000Mbps LAN ports, and a single serial port. One LAN port can be dedicated hardware DMZ port. The firewall provides WAN throughput of up to 80Mbps and supports auto-failover for uninterrupted Internet connection and load-balancing between the WAN ports.
This firewall provides VPN pass-through for IPSec, allowing you to establish up to 200 simultaneous IPsec tunnels. A built-in SPI firewall provides Denial of Service (DoS) protection, URL keyword filtering, logging, reporting, and real-time alerts.
The FVX538 can be easily configured via Web-based configuration utility, including a Quick Setup Wizard or via SNMP v.1/v.2.
