details: GigE WAN Voice Gateway with 802.11n Wireless AP
hardware type: VoIP Gateway
date added: 2010-01-17

The EVG2000 integrates 802.11b/g/n wireless access point, four-port 10/100/1000 Ethernet switch, two FXS ports for VoIP and two USB 2.0 ports. It provides 2.4GHz DECT Radio (Optional, 6 Channels).

The integrated wireless access point complies with the IEEE 802.11n (draft 2.0) standard, providing wireless transmission rates of up to 300Mbps. This AP supports Multiple SSIDs and WEP and WPA2 wireless encryption. It uses WMM (QoS) to prioritize the traffic over the network. A WPS button allows for worry-free wireless security configuration.

This router supports a variety of VoIP features, such as Caller ID, Echo Cancellation and 3- way conferencing.

The router provides VPN pass-through for IPSec, L2TP and PPTP. A built-in SPI firewall protects the network against malicious attacks. It can be configured via Web-based configuration utility or via Telnet/CLI.

I am using Netgear EVG2000, but my computers are Macs. I do not know how to switch off the wireless function of the Router?
Could you tell me how to do it.

Thanks!
