The CGD24G is a DOCSIS 2.0 compliant wireless cable gateway. It has four 10/100Base-T Ethernet LAN ports and a single USB 1.1 port.

Hi i found this very helpful, but how do i turn on the DDoS protection on? I play Call of Duty competitively online through xbox, and i have been receiving attacks on my internet while in matches. the opposing teams use a program called cain and abel to "grab" obtain my ip then they use another program to flood my router shutting down all of my internet or just my xbox's(3074) internet depending on the port they use. it is very frustrating as there are people that will do it over and over for hours. please help me, i've contacted my isp and even netgear.. no one can help.. well netgears claims they can but they want to charge me 130 bucks for a 1 year contract with them which i cannot afford at this time.. i have a netgear router model CGD24g, it is a router and modem in one from what i understand. thanks for your time!@

Unfortunately, most cable modems only allow end users to view statistics, sync, and signal strength, but not modify settings. Those are downloaded from the headend (your ISP).
