The CG814WG Wireless Cable Gateway combines a cable modem, an integrated 4-port router, and 802.11b/g wireless access point. The gateway is DOCSIS 2.0 compliant to ensure interoperability with existing cable systems.
The integrated access point complies with 802.11b/g standards with wireless transmission rates of up to 54Mbps. It supports WEP and WPA/WPA2 wireless encryption.
This gateway supports VPN pass-through for IPSec and PPTP. A built-in SPI firewall protects the network against intruders and Denial of Service (DoS) attacks.
