The MR1700 Router transmits high-speed WiFi data over a wide area, even to distant rooms in large homes. The MR1700 also performs well in apartments and condominiums that are bombarded by wireless noise from neighbours. One reason is 4 antennas for the 2.4 GHz frequency band.
The MR1700 features a total of 6 external adjustable antennas for advanced WiFi performance. Because the 2.4 GHZ frequency provides the greatest WiFi range, the MR1700 features four antennas to support 2.4 GHz and provide extended reach at high speeds.
Router features include a user-friendly firewall, dual-band WiFi, parental controls, guest network capability, and more. The MR1700 setup is fast and easy, with phone, email, and Web support from the USA.
The 1700 Mbps maximum speed is derived from 800 Mbps maximum on the 2.4 GHz and, assuming 256 QAM support on the WiFi client, and 867 Mbps maximum on the 5 GHz band when connecting to other 867 Mbps capable devices.
