Luma Surround WiFi consists of three Luma routers. They are AC1200 routers with a maximum data rate of 300Mbps on the 2.4GHz band and 867Mbps on the 5GHz band, as well as support for Multi-User Multiple Input, Multiple Output (MU-MIMO) data streaming.
In just minutes, Luma creates a mesh network to deliver fast WiFi to every room in your home, all on its own. It even recognizes any obstacles that might block your signal, and automatically works around them.
The routers' enterprise-level security neutralizes threats automatically by blocking malware, phishing and botnet attacks - alerting you immediately if there is an issue.
Easily set network rules for your home and all of the devices in it. Keep your children safe by setting content filter ratings and monitor their online time.
Luma does not offer a Web-based management console and can only be accessed and controlled using a mobile device.
The Luma does not support bridge mode - you can't use it behind another router and have devices connected to both the router and the Luma communicate with each other. Many other mesh wireless devices (Google WiFi, Eero, Linksys Velop, etc.) support bridge mode.
