If you have an external SATA storage device, the E8400 is outfitted with an eSATA port for optimal data transfer rates; it can also serve as a USB 2.0 port. Beamforming technology optimizes performance and reduces interference by focusing wireless signal to connected devices. Four external antennas project large, overlapping Wi-Fi patterns to remove dead spots and widen the router's range. The antennas can be adjusted to the optimal position or detached for future upgrades.
