The VPN 800/8F is a firewall and a router with 2 (up to 8) WAN ports that combines high bandwidth sharing solutions, network security, and load balance and redundancy aimed at small/medium businesses.
The unit has a total of 6 flex ports that can be configured to be additional WAN or LAN ports. These flex ports are configured as LAN ports by default.
The built-in SPI firewall provides a reliable protection against intruders and Denial of Service (DoS) attacks. The VPN 800/8F supports VPN pass-through for IPSec, L2TP and PPTP, allowing you to establish up to 100 simultaneous VPN tunnels.
The redundant WAN ports offer load balancing, as well as automatic failover over multiple broadband connections.
