Hitron CODA5830

details: Tri-band DOCSIS 3.1 Cable Router
hardware type: Cable Gateway
date added: 2022-10-10
updated: 2022-11-08
The CODA5830 supports DOCSIS 3.1 - up to 6 Gbps downstream - and next generation Wi-Fi 6E Tri-Band Router speeds up to 11 Gbps.

This CODA5830 is equipped with a third band using the 6GHz frequency which can be used for Wi-Fi backhaul. Utilizing seven (7) continuous 160MHz channels, the CODA5830 can support multiple clear channels, free from neighborhood Wi-Fi interference. It uses the 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands for common IoT and mobile device support.

The CODA5830 supports a 2.5 GigE port along with two Gigabit Ethernet ports to provide a wired connection to an HDTV, home office router and more.

Installation is a snap with the CODA5830. Pre-configured and pre-enabled WiFi security via WiFi Protected Setup (WPS) means that end users can quickly setup a secure wireless network without any manual configuration.

You get comprehensive remote management and troubleshooting with SNMP, TR-069 and TR-369. And the CODA5830 supports the Hitron ecosystem, including MyHitron+ (a mobile application that lets end users manage their network) and HitronCloud management and analytics for service providers.
