Hitron CODA-5712

details: DOCSIS 3.1 Cable Router with WiFi 6, MoCA and Switchable Frequency
hardware type: Cable Gateway
date added: 2021-09-05
updated: 2021-09-16
Take Internet speeds to a new level with DOCSIS 3.1 – which can increase the capacity of HFC networks by more than 50 percent. Subscribers can connect more devices, enjoy richer digital experiences and fast Internet service for all of their needs.

Easily meet upstream bandwidth demands with a software switchable upstream frequency. You can upgrade to the high-split (5-204MHz) return path at any time without needing to replace the customer hardware or send a technician to the customer home.

The CODA-5712 has an integrated WiFi 4×4 2.4GHz 802.11ax and 4×4 5GHz 802.11ax dual band MU-MIMO access point for fast speeds, greater coverage and rock-solid performance for all your smart home, gaming, mobile and media devices. The total wireless speed is 6000 Mbps (1200 Mbps + 4800 Mbps). If extra coverage is needed, pair the gateway with Hitron extenders/mesh pods.

Connect wired clients or routers in the home office, home theater and more with the gateway’s 2.5 GigE port and two Gigabit Ethernet ports.

MoCA 2.0 channel bonding provides a near-Gigabit wired backbone through the home's coax, making it easy to extend the Wi-Fi network to far corners of the home.

The CODA-5712 supports pre-configured and pre-enabled WiFi security via WiFi Protected Setup (WPS), making it incredibly easy to setup a secure wireless network. Providers get complete remote management and troubleshooting capabilities via SNMP, TR-069 and HNAP. Further, the CODA-5712 supports MyHitron (a mobile application that lets end users easily manage their network) and HitronCloud management and analytics for service providers.
