The Hitron BVG-3653 EMTA allows high-speed data transmission through coaxial cable, with 4 bonded channels delivering a downstream speed of 200Mbps (4x4) to the end-user in bridge mode, and one 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet port from the user to network.
Based on the latest DOCSIS 3.0 technology, the BVG-3653 allows MSOs to offer their end-customers various broadband applications such as telecommuting, HD video on demand over IP connectivity to small office/home office (SOHO), high-speed residential Internet access, interactive multimedia services, etc.
The BVG-3653 is an Intelligent Access Device that enhances its basic data transmission features with IPv6 support; makes it especially suitable for the transmission of data based on this protocol.
The router supports the following VoIP codecs: G.711, G.723.1, G.729A/E, G.722.
