Edimax BR-6624

details: 2 WAN + 4LAN Load Balancing Router
hardware type: Multi-WAN Router
date added: 2010-08-16
updated: 2015-02-05
Four load balancing types allow administrators to manage the load balancing methods best suited to the LAN environment and to maximize bandwidth across different connections:

* Bytes rx+tx - Traffic is measured by Bytes.
* Packets rx+tx - Traffic is measured by Packets.
* Sessions established - Traffic is measured by Sessions.
* IP Address - Traffic is measured by IP address.

With this router, up to 253 users are connected to the Internet with Double Broadband Speed. Load Balancer supports QoS for controlling traffic priority. With QoS, businesses can make the critical traffic or application at high priority and route first.

This router provides VPN pass-through for IPSec and PPTP. A built-in SPI firewall protects the network against hackers and Denial of Service (DoS) attacks.
