The BR-6216Mg is a wireless router with one 10/100Base-T WAN port and four 10/100Base-T LAN ports. It provides WAN throughput of up to 35Mbps.

The integrated access point complies with IEEE 802.11g, providing wireless transmission speeds of up to 54Mbps. The MIMO (Multiple-Input Multiple-Output) technology enables you to connect to wireless networks from further distances than before, the MIMO solution has two antennas for signal reception and one antenna for high power signal transmission.
The router uses WEP and WPA/WPA2 wireless encryption and supports WMM (QoS) to prioritize the traffic over the network.

This router provides VPN pass-through for IPSec and PPTP. It features a built-in firewall to protect the network against hackers and Denial of Service (DoS) attacks.
