DrayTek VigorAP 800

details: Wireless-N Access Point
hardware type: Wireless Access Point
date added: 2011-01-20
updated: 2015-11-15
The VigorAP 800 is a Wireless-N Access Point (AP) with MIMO technology and Power over Ethernet (PoE) support. It is backwards compatible with 802.11b/g standards. Power over Ethernet (PoE) support eases the installation by running only one cable to the VigorAP 800 to deliver both data and power.

VigorAP 800 supports WMM (QoS). It adds prioritized capabilities to Wi-Fi networks and optimizes their performance when multiple concurring applications, each with different latency and throughput requirements, compete for network resources. Additionaly, the unit supports 4 separate SSIDs and two virtual LANs (VLANs).

The included WDS feature takes care of the establishment of WLAN network with Point-to-Point / Point-to-Multipoint bridging and Repeater modes.
