The Digicom 3G SOHO is a wireless mobile router with a SIM card slot and an embedded FXS port. It uses HSDPA technology at 7.2Mbps and HSUPA at 2 Mbps and implements 54Mbps wireless LAN technology. A LAN Ethernet port is available for a wired connection.
All the main information about the gateway status is supplied on a 65.000 colors display (for example coverage level, caller ID connection, received SMS, lost calls, date and time).
The implementation of the Remote Activation function allows to enable the connection remotely. When a specific SMS is received or a phone number is recognized (CLI), 3G Soho can connect for a specific time preset by the user. 3G SOHO can also be set to intercept e-mails received in LAN enabling the 3G connection and it can send an SMS, as well.
Configuration and management of 3G SOHO are carried out via WEB interface, independent of the operating system.
