The NetPassage 15B/BR is Compex's Parallel Broadband Internet Router. Like other broadband routers, it will let multiple computers on your LAN share a single broadband Internet connection using NAT (Network Address Translation).

Where the Netpassage differs from the norm is in its ability to add multiple Internet connections and multiple Netpassage routers together for "infinite scalability". This "parallel broadband" technology feature lets you connect one router for each Internet connection for load balancing of traffic. However, the actual implementation is somewhat lacking. Each computer on the network is assigned a default gateway - some on one broadband connection, some on the other, in essence only providing for load balancing over a larger number of clients, not necessarily useful in residential environment.
