The Cisco 878 is an SHDSL router with a single RJ-11 WAN port and a four-port 10/100Base-T Ethernet switch with the ability to designate a port as network DMZ. The router can be connected to an optional external PoE adapter for IP phones or external wireless access points.
This router supports VPN pass-through for IPSec, L2TP and PPTP, allowing you to establish up to ten simultaneous VPN tunnels. A built-in SPI firewall protects the network against unauthorized access.
