Thanks to the compact construction, which allows the device to be used at practically any electrical socket, no cables or special mounting accessories are required. Simple setup with the push of a button is also possible via WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup), manually or using a setup assistant. Operation as a dual-band repeater allows transmission on the 2.4-GHz band - or alternatively, in the much less heavily used 5GHz range. Integrated WPA2 wireless encryption also guarantees the security that wireless surfers require for peace of mind. If you need to bridge connections due to structural conditions or particularly great distances, a network cable or powerline connection allows the FRITZ!WLAN Repeater 300E to be installed even more flexibly, wherever it is needed. In the "LAN Bridge" operating mode the Repeater 300E becomes a fully functional WLAN access point.
