The FRITZ!Box Fon WLAN 7170 is both a wireless ADSL2+ router and an all-round PBX for not only VoIP and analog, but also ISDN telephony. Three analog extensions for telephones and fax machines support VoIP or fixed line telephony even when the computer is off.
At the same time, four computers or other network devices have Internet access at ADSL2+ speed. The preconfigured firewall and port forwarding features guarantee safe
surfing, both when working as a modem and as a router. And by simply pressing a button,
the WLAN connection can be enabled and disabled.
The USB host port allows applications such as printers and storage media to be shared
throughout the entire network. The router features an ISDN SO port for ISDN telephones or ISDN PBXs.
Compliant with WLAN 802.11b/g/g++ in combination with FRITZ!WLAN USB Stick, the raw data rate is raised to 125 Mbit/s (g++) - 35 % more than attainable with WLAN 802.11g.
