FRITZ!Box Fon is a PBX that makes possible both conventional telephone calls over fixed lines and Internet telephony with DSL. It combines in one device a two-port PBX for connecting analog devices, a DSL modem for direct connection to the DSL splitter and an ISDN/analog connection to the fixed-line network.
FRITZ!Box Fon provides fixed-line and Internet telephony for two analog terminal devices. For Internet telephony over DSL, FRITZ!Box Fon uses the Session Initiation Protocol (SIP). It provides a variety of VoIP features, such as Speed dialing, Dial-out blacklist, Call-through function, Caller list.
The router allows easy configuration, using the Web-based configuration utility.
