Asus DSL-AC87VG

details: AC2400 Dual-Band Wi-Fi VDSL/ADSL VoIP Router
hardware type: VoIP Gateway
date added: 2017-02-19
updated: 2020-02-20
DSL-AC87VG has multiple ways to connect to the internet, with a choice of DSL, Ethernet or 3G/4G LTE. It provides a total of 2334Mbps combined bandwidth.

With a dual-band four-transmit, four-receive (4T4R) antenna design, both Wi-Fi range and signal stability improve dramatically. AiRadar further focuses Wi-Fi signal on your devices, making your Wi-Fi faster, clearer and stronger.

The DSL-AC87VG offers dual CPU performance and flexibility. Its twin processors each optimize wired and wireless connections. By separating wired VDSL/ADSL and Wi-Fi networking into two compute modules with their own dedicated processing power, the DSL-AC87VG achieves maximum performance for both connection types with no compromises.

DSL-AC87VG has advanced VoIP capabilities that allow it to be used as a complete home internet telephony system. Users can register DSL-AC87VG with up to 10 SIP-compatible VoIP accounts, and connect standard analog telephones or fax machines to the two standard RJ-11 telephony ports. Up to five cordless DECT phones can also be connected to the built-in DECT base station.

DSL-AC87VG has the capacity to handle up to 9 simultaneous voice calls, and there is also an integrated solid-state answering machine.

The DSL-AC87VG has Quality of Service (QoS) standards that let you select how much bandwidth is prioritized for virtually any task.
