Verizon is launching a new Android TV-powered set-top box called the Verizon Stream TV. The Stream TV costs $70 by itself. The stand-alone option and is possibly the worst option for streaming on the market right now (Amazon's Fire TV Stick 4K costs $50). However, it will be free for new subscribers to Verizon's 5G Home Internet plan. The Stream TV includes YouTube TV with a free month of service, Disney+, and Yahoo apps pre-loaded. Тhe Google Play Store also is in there so you can download any other apps you may need. Unfortunately, Verizon's streaming TV box lacks Netflix support, which is surprising considering the huge popularity of the service. As for the box itself, the Stream TV is an unassuming black square with a simple power indicator on the front and two ports (one 4K HDMI, one Ethernet) in the back. Google Assistant functionality is built-in, with a dedicated button included on the remote. Read more -here-
