Netgear's AirCard 785 4G LTE mobile hotspot has won a 2015 CES Innovation Award in the Smart Home category. The hotspot provides 4G broadband connection and simultaneous dual-band 802.11n WiFi coverage. It allows for download and upload speeds of up to 150Mbps and 50Mbps respectively. Being the world's first "unlocked" 4G LTE mobile hotspot, it's not bound to any mobile operator.

The hotspot features a convenient 1.77 inch colour LCD display which provides information about operator, signal strength, battery life, data usage and connected devices. It also offers a WPS button, for making fast and secure connections. Up to 10 WiFi enabled devices can be connected to the hotspot. In addition, it comes with password protection and the ability to block unwanted WiFi devices.

The device is 16.6 mm thick and is 110x69 mm in size. The 2000 mAh lithium-ion battery is removable and lasts about 10 hours when actively used and up to 300 hours on standby. Thanks to the built-in dual TS-9 connectors, external antennas can be attached to the hotspot for wider coverage.
