Fox expects to launch its upcoming streaming service before this year’s NFL season, the company announced on Monday. The new service, which it will call Fox One, will allow viewers to access livestreams and on-demand content from several channels, including Fox News, Fox Sports, FS1, FS2, Fox Business, and local stations.

During an earnings call on Monday, the company discussed giving pay TV subscribers access to Fox One. Fox CEO Lachlan Murdoch also reiterated that the company does "not want to lose a traditional cable subscriber to Fox One."

Fox revealed plans to launch a standalone streaming service in February – just weeks after plans to launch the sports streaming platform Venu fell apart. Other companies, like DirecTV and Comcast, have already introduced rival sports-streaming packages, while Disney's ESPN plans on launching a full-featured streaming service this fall.

Fox says its streaming service will come with personalization features that adjust to viewing patterns. It will also contain the option to bundle its separate Fox Nation subscription, but there still aren’t any details on how much the new service will cost.
