Starting this week, Netflix' service will be fully available on Comcast's X1 platform. Both old and new customers will be able to take advantage of the "upgrade".

Netflix content will be "fully integrated" into Xfinity On Demand, letting X1 customers watch series like "House of Cards," "Orange Is the New Black" and "Stranger Things" from the same menu with past and current seasons of popular TV shows on Comcast VOD.

"The Netflix integration into the X1 platform means our mutual customers will no longer need to change inputs or juggle remotes," said Netflix CEO Reed Hastings in a statement. "Now they can seamlessly move between the Netflix app and their cable service, enjoying all the TV shows and movies they love without hassle."

The product has been in beta for some customers since September, where users could opt-in to trial the combination between cable and streaming media.
