Clearwire to unveil wireless broadband service

WASHINGTON (Reuters) -- U.S. mobile phone industry pioneer Craig McCaw said Wednesday he was poised to launch a wireless broadband Internet service in the United States and several other countries.

McCaw said his company, Clearwire Inc., would offer the service in Jacksonville, Florida, and St. Cloud, Minnesota, and was also testing equipment in Mexico City, Vancouver and Ottawa, Canada.
