Amazon Luna launches on Samsung Gaming Hub2022-08-04 09:18 by DanielaTags: Amazon Luna, Samsung Gaming Hub
Amazon's game streaming service, Luna, is launching on Samsung's 2022 smart TVs and monitors today. Luna will be part of the Samsung Gaming Hub, which includes services like Google Stadia, Xbox Cloud Gaming, and Nvidia's GeForce Now. Samsung launched the gaming hub in late June, with the Xbox TV app exclusive to Samsung's 2022 smart TVs and monitors. Gaming Hub is free, and each third-party service included with Samsung's platform follows its own payment model.Samsung says that with Luna, the gaming hub now has more than 1000 games available to play. Most of these games will require an extra subscription fee, though if you're an Amazon Prime subscriber, you already have access to a small library of games. Very small. Right now Prime users can play four games (Steel Assault, MYST, Control: Ultimate Edition and Garfield Kart: Furious Racing) included with their subscription. As with the other services, you will need a stable connection of at least 10Mbps to access streaming reliably, although a more realistic minimum to have a good experience is 20Mbps. For now, it's only 2022 Samsung TVs that have been granted access to Gaming Hub, but Samsung says that it's working on potentially bringing the features to older TVs as well. Read more -here-
