I have a K7VMA Motherboard with a 1.0 Ghz AMD Athalon Processor with 256 M of memory trying to install a 40 gig maxtor ata 133 HDD it shows up on the post but whenever I try to install Win 2000 or do fdisk with a win 98 startup disk it says no hard drive installed. Will a Bios upgrade help me ...

AVG was saying there was a virus or possible virus in the master boot record but it turned out it was that there was a problem with the master boot record so we just did a fdisk mbr and that fixed it. Thanks again ............Melchizedek
