Virtual Driver missing
YeOldeStonecat wrote:Specifically what error? Anything in event viewer?
Reinstall chipset drivers
Uninstall any prior Lexmark driver install attemps, reboot, try to install again.
The error said: system\currentcontrolset\control\virtualdevicedrivers.vdd virtual driver format in registry is unvalid
Event id 701
The event viewer said this about the error The SAVScan service depends on the SAVRT service which failed to start because of the following error:
A device attached to the system is not functioning. The driver is not in add and remove programs, I will see if I can find the chipset drivers.
