IMVHO still no clear explanations.
FYI first partition SSD
should keep only essential OS data
& SSD trim problem should be "solvet"

no dubts
w7rc 64-bit is much faster with 6gb ram

In my case ThP x200s & 8GB RAM is still the future
so RAM is 4GB (w7b-64bit & IE8b-64bits etc on hdd 200GB 7200rpm FDE)
but from 4 weeks ~20$ upg with 2GB TurboMemory
(adv as speedup prgs start & reduction of power consumption)
